The M6 sized option requires a 9mm predrilled hole. This is not a typical size you're gonna find in most DIY drill bit sets and typically going to need to specifically purchase this unless you have a higher end/larger set of bits. There's no real equal in terms of american conversion either.
A 3/8" or a 10mm drill bit will work though the sizing is slightly too large. It is not so large that it wont work, but the bolt is smaller enough in diameter that when you try to tighten the nut to expand the sleeve it just spins the whole thing so you just need to put a little stuffing inside like a piece of cloth that'll keep the sleeve snug enough so that it doesnt spin when you tighten the nut and a few turns will expand the sleeve enough that it tightens against the perimeter of the whole and secures itself.
